Corzo Tequila by BacardiCorzo Tequila is an international brand owned by Bacardi. Graphically, I love their site (www.corzo.com). I think it is a beautiful engaging advertisement and a great example of Flash programming! However, this site also is a classic example of pure advertisingwithout consideration of how best to use the Internet as an integrated marketing channel.Corzo is not taking advantage of the capabilities of the Internet to really reach out to their online target consumers. The site seems only to exist for those who happen upon it by accident or are driven by off line collateral. In my opinion it does as much if not more to promote the exceptional creative team than to promote the product - from an Internet marketing and propagation perspective. While I have no idea what the off line strategy is to promote this site, I can say that Corzo is missing a potential audience of over 970 million Internet users globally (OK, maybe not all of those are tequila drinkers... although I personally can't imagine why not). Here is why I say this:
Finally, as a tequila drinker and an Internet strategy professional, I believe a brand of this caliber deserves better Internet exposure, awareness and integration. This point is emphasized by the high search engine rankings this page you are reading receives for terms like Corzo Tequila, Corzo Tequila Bacardi and Corzo Bacardi.
